We guess lots of people have made their way past the old CI Tyres site in La Charroterie over the last few months and wondered what’s happening!
So here are some photos of our team reprofiling and stabilising the cliff, readying the site for new key worker housing to be built by Guernsey Housing Association.
We’ve drilled 500 anchors up to 6m into the rock, installed 2,000sqm of steel netting and excavated 10,000T of earth and rock. All completed with our own local team of drillers, rope access technicians, skilled excavator operators and engineers.
Thanks to Guernsey Housing Association for an exciting project and a great opportunity to showcase our capabilities whilst enabling much needed housing to be built.
