Landside works for the major Belle Greve Long and Short Sea Outfall project were completed for Dutch marine contractor Van Oord on time and on budget at the end of October. Other marine and related projects have also been delivered over recent months including:
- 6000T+ of rock armour was successfully placed at Longue Hougue for the States of Guernsey in September and October
- The high quality of engineering and delivery impressed client Trinity House on the Hanois Lighthouse landing repair project particularly as the programme was unaffected despite the terrible sea and weather conditions experienced by the team.
- The final phase of work undertaken by Maarten Angenent and his team has been completed on the Island of Jethou. Working closely with Island staff, upgrades were undertaken to Jethou’s slipway, boat house, fuel storage and main roadway over a three year period.
