Geomarine are excited to confirm contract close for the new waste management facilities at Longue Hougue.
It involves a major development of the Longue Hougue site including construction of a new waste transfer station. Major multi-national and long term negotiating partner Amec Foster Wheeler will head-up the £25M project with Geo providing the lion’s share of construction works on site. The combined piling, infrastructure, civils and building works promises to be Geo’s largest contract to date.
Tom Whitmore, who led the Geo team during the lengthy pre-contract phase said, “Everyone who has contributed to getting the project to the starting line is delighted. It’s been a great effort and Geo look forward to being part of the team that delivers this vital part of Guernsey’s Waste Strategy.”
