Geomarine engineers have been working hard fixing the Vazon slipway after it suffered damage during recent storms.
The slipway had been damaged earlier this winter when part of the concrete structure had come away leaving the fill material to be washed away by the tides creating a void underneath. Further bad weather lead to more structural deterioration so emergency work was undertaken to prevent any more damage with a more permanent solution being looked into for the future.
