Supporting the Community

Geomarine has a long tradition of getting involved in community projects including sponsorship of a range of local sporting clubs, charities and activities and are very proud to encourage young people to work in the industry by way of offering a bursary to AS/A Level students and Degree students starting their first year at university.

Our Team.

Iain Barclay

Operations Director

Joined Geomarine in February 2004 during which time has been at the forefront of many of the projects within Civil, Marine. Piling, Site Investigation, Rope Access, Utilities and specialist works.

Previous to Geomarine Iain has worked nationally from the Orkney Islands to Kent and Pembrokeshire as well as internationally in Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

Martin Curd

Technical Director

Martin joined Geomarine in 2016 and has previously worked as a consulting/design professional with some of the major UK and international consultancies. He brings a wealth of ground investigation and design experience to Geomarine, both of which are key to our operations.

Martin is a Chartered Fellow of the Geological Society, a European Geologist and Registered Ground Engineering Professional. He also holds an MSc from Newcastle University.

Phil Horsley

Managing Director

Phil joined Geomarine from sister company Camerons, in 2010. Prior to this he delivered multi-million pound construction projects in the UK, including central London, and overseas before coming to Jersey in 2003. Phil is proud to be part of the team at Geomarine and remains accountable and contactable to all customers.
