Bursary Scheme

Geomarine is passionate about engineering and are looking to support Channel Island students who have an interest in an engineering career.


Geomarine are always keen to discuss opportunities with locally qualified persons that have experience in the following fields:

  • Deep drainage including pipelaying and installation of proprietary trench support systems.  (Primarily gangers and Foremen).
  • Engineering staff with managerial skills in roads and streetworks, deep drainage, piling and geotechnical works and utility contracts.
  • Enthusiastic people with a will to learn and a proactive approach to their career development.

The Geomarine Bursary Scheme

Geomarine want to encourage students who intend to work in the Engineering or Geotechnical Industry and so offer a bursary scheme aimed at young people that are about to embark on their first year of AS levels or the first year of their degree.

Geomarine are looking for locally qualified recent graduate with a civil engineering degree for a large construction project in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The position is temporary for the construction period of 12 to 18 months but could become permanent for the right candidate.
