This project took the cable from the South Hill Switching Station to Mount Bingham where the ducting was drilled into the former WW2 tunnel so that it could access Commercial Buildings before being taken down the Esplanade then crossing Victoria Avenue and running up to the connection in First Tower.

This project required multiple teams working multiple shifts. The teams were required to install six large diameter ducts and two small diameter ducts per trench. The route has a high volume of traffic and therefore a detailed traffic management plan was implemented. This project was a success for Geomarine and for the Client.
