For the last three weeks Geomarine has been providing logistical and rope access support to archaeologists from Jersey Heritage
and UCL Institute of Archaeology, as they uncover more secrets from the ice age sediments at La Cotte de St Brelade.
Our role has included inspection of the rock faces and netting to ensure work is safe to commence, setting up roped access so the team and equipment can safely access up and down the 30m high vertical granite cliffs and providing labour to assist with excavations and shifting the excavated soil.
