Garenne Civil Engineering Ltd (GCE) has successfully taken its first steps. The newest group member company is based on the very successful model of Geomarine and will be headed up by Martin Holmes (Garenne UK Operations) and Ian Gilmour (of Geomarine). Only registered in January and with Rob Martin joining the team in February as UK Contracts Manager, GCE have established their base in the Ringwood (in the New Forest on the south coast of Hampshire).
With marketing underway, GCE have already gathered momentum toward introducing the company to the UK market place, and even submitted their first tender! The ultimate objective of becoming a UK market leader in provision of specialist geotechnical, marine and civil engineering services will not be a quick win. With the enthusiastic approach and ‘can-do’ attitude of the GCE team and with the support of the Group, we believe our objective to be obtainable.
